We trust our coaching staff to lead our team, to help mold our boys into the men of tomorrow. We know that they coach more than just football technique, they are teaching our boys how to become leaders, both on and off the field. Coaching is the teaching of a sport. Teaching is a very special field with extremely important responsibilities. Sports is an exciting and fulfilling way for us to find exhilaration, gain self-esteem, and learn life lessons. Coaching is about teaching, shaping, and launching young men and women into healthy, productive lives. Coaches have a tremendous opportunity and consequently, a tremendous obligation. The opportunity has to do with the shaping of a society and culture. The people we coach are going to be the next leaders of their generation. As a rule, the sport of football is a significant mental and physical grind. How our coaches help young athletes to work through emotional experiences is essential to how well athletes grow from their football careers. Many young men become disheartened due to the disappointments with their playing experiences. Others grow tremendously and become better people due to the experience. One of the primary goals we have for our team is to come as close to your potential as you possibly can. It is about every person coming together for a common cause: being the best you can be. It is about never settling for less than what you have to give. You don’t start something, coach or player, unless you are going to give it your best and see it through to the end.
